Naturalist Ambassador Assistant Volunteer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Norman Bird Sanctuary is seeking volunteer Naturalist Ambassadors from our three-season Curiosity Lab to support our educators for our Welcoming Spring Vacation Mini-Camp program as Naturalist Ambassador Assistants. Naturalist Ambassador Assistants are Curiosity Lab volunteers who commit a minimum of 2 hours a day during the local school break. Naturalist Ambassador Assistants help Teacher Naturalists in managing camp groups, playing games, leading hikes, reading stories, creating crafts, reinforcing expectations, supporting cleaning, and much more.

TO SIGN UP: 

1. Select the date(s) that you wish to volunteer for Vacation Mini-Camp

        2. Check the time(s) you would like to volunteer (9am-11am AND/OR 11am-1pm AND/OR 1pm-3pm). We encourage volunteers to sign up for as many shifts as you can and would like (no limit, multiple days preferred)

        3. Create your Volunteer Profile at the bottom of the page, electronically sign the waiver, and click "Sign up!"

We will keep in touch with updates and additional info about Vacation Mini-Camp and our Naturalist Ambassador Assistant orientation date.
